According to La Gazzetta dello Sport, Giorgio Chiellini stands out as the favorite. He is currently ' key figure in international affairs and a close confidant of John Elkann, which is why the Turin club chose him for this key and respected position.
There are high expectations that Chiellini will secure the position, which is in line with agreements made a few months ago when Ezio Maria Simonelli took charge of Serie A.
The same publication notes that an alternative candidate is Giovanni Carnevali, the general director of Sassuolo, who is supported by Inter president Beppe Marotta.
