Four names at Real Madrid being blamed after Brugge farce

Zinedine Zidane comes out looking the worst after Real Madrid’s slip up against Club Brugge in the Champions League.

COURTOIS

Four players also came out looking bad. Thibaut Courtois was whistled, left looking foolish for the first goal, and taken off at half-time because of stomach pains.

VARANE

Madrid backed him but it seems he’s hit a ceiling. He isn’t reaching the quality needed for this team. he has problems on the ball, he’s lost speed too. The Frenchman doesn’t seem to be able to read the play of the opponent. Militao could take his place.

VAZQUEZ

He’s in a footballing pit which has left him lacking the quality to even play for the B team. A flan with the ball at his feet, bad at control, disastrous passing, terrible dribbles. Zidane says ‘he’s fucking great’, well yeah, but only for opposition defences.

HAZARD

He’s still at Chelsea. Not connecting with his team-mates, not working in Zidane’s system. Poor performances and needs something to click.
