Thomas Frank says he has been "feeling the trust" from the Tottenham board, after reports that the club's hierarchy held discussions over the Dane's future on Sunday.
Spurs suffered a last-gasp 2-1 defeat to relegation-threatened West Ham last time out in the Premier League, extending their winless streak to five games in all competitions.
They have slipped to 14th in the table in that time, while they were also knocked out of the FA Cup in the third round by Aston Villa.
As such, Frank has come under increasing pressure, but with his future seemingly hanging in the balance, Spurs have decided to stick with him as their head coach.
Speaking ahead of their Champions League match against Borussia Dortmund on Tuesday, Frank said he has never felt anything but support from the Spurs hierarchy.
"I've just been, how can you say, feeling the trust along the way," Frank said in his pre-match press conference.
"I've said that every press meeting. I had lunch with Nick [Beucher], Vinai [Venkatesham, CEO] and Johan [Lange, sporting director] today, and it was all good. It's all part of the media circus, and I can only think about winning against Dortmund.
"I am not in doubt [that he can win over Spurs fans]. In this game, you always need resilience.
"The three biggest things in showing resilience are having good values, and I believe I am a guy that has good values.
"Second is you know the reality, and the reality is that one in five people don't like you, no matter what you do, and one in five love you no matter what you do – both sides are probably biased, no matter what you do.
"And then there is the third thing. If you behave well, are respectful and show integrity, then you are sweet. The reality is not everyone will like you."
Despite their patchy league form, Spurs are in a strong position in the Champions League, sitting 11th in the 36-team standings, just one point below the automatic qualification spots.
Spurs have won all four of their previous Champions League meetings with Dortmund, which took place across the 2017-18 and 2018-19 campaigns.
Frank's side are also the only side to have won all three of their home games in the competition this season without conceding, while scoring eight goals in those three wins.
They are unbeaten in their last 23 European matches on home soil (W19 D4) overall.
"If your back is against the wall, you fight," Frank said. "I am energetic, and I fight.
"It is not about me; we need to win football matches, and we need to do that together. We are ready and focused on the game together, and the players look good.
"There are a lot of signs that this is going the right way. We still need to find a way to get over the line, and I think we are much closer than we think.
"I am not in doubt that it is the right thing. I am not in doubt that things will turn, but I know we need to win more football matches."
Frank also confirmed Dominic Solanke has been reinstated to his Champions League squad to replace the injured Richarlison, at the expense of Mathys Tel, who has been dropped from his group for the second time.
Ben Davies is also facing a lengthy spell on the sidelines after the club confirmed he will undergo surgery on his fractured left ankle.
