According to RMC, the French team encountered high temperatures and humidity in Boston upon their arrival in the United States, and the coaching staff has taken several countermeasures.

The media outlet wrote that since the French team arrived in the United States, the weather in Boston has been hot and humid, and the coaching staff has not taken this lightly. The French team's first training session was originally scheduled for 3 AM Beijing time (CEST) on Friday at Bentley University, and this timing was not accidental, as the kick-off times for their two important group matches against Senegal and Norway are also at this hour. Friday's training session was also scheduled for 3 AM Beijing time (CEST) on Saturday.

To adapt to the local environment, where temperatures exceeded 35 degrees Celsius and humidity often surpassed 60% on Thursday, the French team's coaching staff organized relevant meetings immediately upon arriving on the East Coast of the United States, and issued reminders and advice: urging players to rehydrate as much as possible, drink up to 6 liters of water daily, and use ice towels as much as possible. During training, staff will distribute ice towels to players to help them cool their necks.

French defender Lacroix confirmed, "We drank a lot of water. We had several meetings about this to understand how to maintain our physical condition. You saw me wearing a long-sleeved jersey today, that was my mistake, I admit it." The French team also has a mobile cryotherapy room with small cold water baths, which will be very helpful in lowering players' body temperatures. The team also reminded players to be mindful of air conditioning use; while air conditioning is necessary, excessive temperature differences should not affect the players' bodies.

Deschamps and his assistants are also monitoring travel times between the hotel and the training center. Even with an escort, traveling to Bentley University takes over 30 minutes. For example, the French team decided to adjust Friday's local schedule, postponing the press conference and holding it immediately after the field training, to avoid unnecessary and exhausting round trips for players selected for interviews.

The French team is adapting to the environment. Goalkeeper Brice Samba, who also wore a long-sleeved jacket, is not overly concerned, stating, "There's no magic formula. We need to hydrate well, prepare, and get into the right mental state. This isn't the first time. We will adapt like all teams." The good news is that temperatures in New York will drop next week. On Tuesday, local time, when France plays Senegal, the temperature is expected to be only 22 degrees Celsius.
