In the 14th round of the Premier League, Fulham, after trailing 0-3 and even 1-5 at one point, ultimately lost 4-5 at home to Manchester City.
Post-match statistics from Opta indicate that Fulham became only the third team in Premier League history to score four goals in a home game but ultimately suffer a defeat. This had previously occurred three times: Norwich City's 4-5 home loss to Southampton in 1994, Tottenham Hotspur's 4-5 home loss to Arsenal in 2004, and Norwich City's 4-5 home loss to Liverpool in 2016.
