Galtier bringing discipline to PSG: He has introduced three new rules

Nasser Al-Khelaifi was clear before appointing Christophe Galtier that things needed to change at Paris Saint-Germain, and the new coach has wasted no time in leaving his mark.

The club want are above any player, and that's something they want everybody in the dressing room to know, and Luis Campos has given the new coach his full backing to do what is needed to drive that home.

Currently on tour in Japan, PSG's players are learning what life is going to be like under their new coach, with Galtier having set new rules in the dressing room.

Late arrivals to be sent home

PSG's players are expected to arrive for training every morning between 08:30 and 08:45. If players are late and without reason, they will be denied entry and sent home.

No phones during meals

At breakfast and lunch, players will not be allowed to use their mobile phones. Galtier wants to create more unity in the group, and he sees this as a way of delivering that.

Meals to be eaten as a group

PSG's players will eat their meals together at the Camp des Loges, where they are based. Previously, cliques have been seen during meal times.

A positive reaction

So far, the players have responded well to Galtier's arrival and the introduction of his new rules.

Neymar has reacted well and looks committed to the cause at PSG, despite rumours that the club would let him leave this summer.

Galtier, for his part, has always insisted that the Brazilian is part of his plans.
