Manchester United’s Alejandro Garnacho has come under fire from Arturo Vidal for his celebration following a fantastic bicycle kick against Everton.
Garnacho's love for Cristiano Ronaldo is well known, as he previously copied his former teammate's otherbtrademark celebrations when he scored his first Manchester United goal last season.
The Argentine wheeled away and performed the 'Siu' in front of the Everton supporters in what will surely go down as one of the Premier League's great moments, but not everyone is happy with his celebration.
Former Juventus & Barcelona man Arturo Vidal believes Garnacho was wrong to imitate his idol and thinks the youngster should "make his own name."
"It’s good that he is his idol, respect for that, but then he has to make his name," said Vidal via Twitch.
"How are you going to celebrate a goal and remember it? I don’t know, celebrate it another way," Vidal added.
Vidal has played against Cristiano Ronaldo multiple times throughout his career, and is probably quite qualified to speak on the celebration having seen it plenty of times in person.
It wasn't all criticism from the Chile international, who labelled the United teenager "an already great player" and commended him for "a great goal."
It was more than just the celebration that imitated the five-time Ballon'Dor winner, with the goal itself well worth being compared to Ronaldo's bicycle kick against Juventus in 2017.
The emphatic volley put Manchester United 1-0 up inside just three minutes, and Garnacho continued a fine performance that saw United win 3-0 at Goodison Park..

90% of the celebrations we see today are not original they had already been performed by someone before but just because he did one of Ronaldo's you want to make it an issue. why not have issues with every other goal scorer in the world you double standard guy

Believe me... its not the celebration Vidal is angry about, it reminds him of how CR7 used to torment him each time they meet.
