Gazzetta: Leao prefers Premier League as Man Utd are interested

Leao has made it clear he wants to leave, and for Milan, the best outcome would be to attract multiple interested clubs to bid for him. La Gazzetta dello Sport points out that Leao is not content with just changing clubs and environments; his top priority is to play in the Premier League, and Manchester United is indeed interested in him.

Leao has long made his goal clear: "When the time is right, I will evaluate all options, only to continue competing in the highest level of European football."

This means he will not be swayed by the high-salary temptations of Saudi Arabia, and most likely will not consider the Turkish league either. Although Galatasaray and Fenerbahçe are fiercely competing for him, both clubs can offer an annual salary of about 10 million euros, which is very attractive – considering Leao's current fixed annual salary at Milan is only 5.5 million euros, plus bonuses.

Although the Turkish Süper Lig has developed rapidly in recent years, it still does not meet his definition of "the highest standard of football." Therefore, his first choice is still the Premier League, especially Manchester United.

He recently stated: "I often watch the Premier League, and I particularly like Manchester United, partly because my idol Cristiano Ronaldo played there, and Arsenal is also a team I have always followed."

Against this backdrop, English media reports that Manchester United is indeed interested in Leao. As for Barcelona, which had been previously rumored, it has long fallen behind in his transfer preference.
