Substitutes Stefano Sturaro and Goran Pandev scored in the final 20 minutes as Genoa stunned Serie A leaders Juventus.
Match Events
17' Great save from Perin!
Kouame gets on the end of a clipped ball in behind and attempts to pick out the bottom corner.
The ball hits Rugani and falls nicely for Sanabria to blast goalwards, but Perin dives across to his right to palm it aside.
30' VAR rules out ref's penalty decision for Genoa
57' OFFSIDE! Dybala's goal disallowed by VAR
There was apparently an offside infringement in the build-up, so Dybala's goal has been wiped out.
72' GOAL! Genoa 1-0 Juventus (Sturaro)
The former Juventus man fires Genoa ahead against his old club! On the field for just a matter of minutes, Sturaro sets himself for the shot 20 yards from goal and whips it into the bottom corner, just out of Perin's reach.
Pandev maybe thought about taking on the shot instead, but he instead laid it off to Sturaro alongside him.
81' GOAL! Genoa 2-0 Juventus (Pandev)
Juventus are heading for their first league defeat in nearly a year as another substitute finds the back of the net!
Pandev takes Kouame's reverse path in his stride and fires it across Perin, who is again caught out.
Match Report
Juventus lost their first Serie A game of the season as Stefano Sturaro and Goran Pandev sealed a memorable 2-0 win for Genoa at Stadio Luigi Ferraris on Sunday.
Genoa activated their obligation to buy Sturaro from Juventus for €16.5million in February, less than two weeks after he joined on loan and he marked his first appearance of his second spell with the opener after 72 minutes.
That was followed nine minutes from time by Pandev's fine strike past Mattia Perin to secure a deserved victory for the hosts.
Cristiano Ronaldo was rested after his midweek heroics against Atletico Madrid and Juve sorely missed his attacking threat in what was an insipid display.

This is one of the many reasons Allegri is not good for juventus. Allegri is not improving Juventus. Juventus have been playing awfully for months and today they finally lost . Juventus fans should be happy for this result because it gives us the opportunity to understand how dumb Allegri is .Last week Tuesday Juventus won because the team wanted it . The coach is too defensive that’s why you see him always playing useless Mandzukic . Mandzukic is the most useless and unskillful striker i have ever seen in my life. He hardly scores and he can’t make decent passes and his goals are either tap into a free net or open headed . The truth must be told . The Juventus we saw on Tuesday has nothing to do with Allegri. It was CR7 and the boys that decided to play out their hearts ♥️ today you can see the Real Allegri hand writing written all over Juventus. No chemistry no shoots at goal nothing. Juventus needs a real coach because at the moment they’re not playing to their full potential. Juventus can’t win every games , I understand but they can be better and play beautifully than all this boring games week in and out . Ajax are way better than Atletico and they won’t come and defend against us . We must be very careful.

To be honest , Juventus were more deadly and dangerous without Ronaldo although he added a lot to juv but think bout last season when Juventus were on fire even when they lost to Madrid in there home and eventually they came to Madrid home and did same before Buffon misbehaved and got for himself a red card...I know some will say is all a lie but think about it.very soon juv will start depending on him

Spot the Difference:- With Ronaldo it's purely Juventus. Without Ronaldo it's truly Old Lady of Turin.

If u want CHAMPION🏆 LEAGUE trophy then u should play like a Champion with full consistency. Yes it's true that Cristiano's absence cause them mentally weak but if you really want CL trophy🏆 then play like a champion and that too with a club like Genoa.
