Fans attending the "German Celebration" on Sunday at 7:20 PM local time can purchase discounted tickets for the game against the New York Yankees, receive a special jersey adorned with black, red, and gold, and gain entry to a fan party featuring an Oktoberfest band.
According to the German Football Association (DFB), DFB President Bernd Neuendorf has also been invited to throw the traditional first pitch at North America's oldest Major League Baseball stadium. During this FIFA World Cup, Scottish and Norwegian fans have already held large football parties at baseball games.
