According to SPORT1, a giant banner will be unfurled in the Munich Südkurve to congratulate Kane. Last Monday, the Englishman became the first Bayern player since Karl-Heinz Rummenigge (1981) to win the prestigious award.

Ahead of the match against Dortmund, active fan groups plan to congratulate Ballon d'Or winner Kane. A gesture is also planned for another player.

On Saturday evening, Bayern will host Dortmund at the Allianz Arena (text commentary from 18:30 CET) in what promises to be a Bundesliga blockbuster. Fans of the German record champions have prepared a big gift for Ballon d'Or winner Kane to mark the occasion.

Kane had already been celebrated on the pitch during the German Cup match against Magdeburg, though the tribute was limited to a guard of honor from his teammates and applause from the spectators. The Englishman remained on the bench throughout as Bayern cruised to a 6-1 victory.

Bayern: Gesture also planned for Kimmich

Kane will walk onto the pitch with his Ballon d'Or trophy and briefly show it to the fans before kick-off.

According to SPORT1, a gesture of support is also planned for Kimmich. The Bayern vice-captain returns to the starting lineup against Dortmund after missing the past three matches following a bereavement in his immediate family. Active fan groups will present the 31-year-old with a letter of condolence.

Kimmich returned to training at Säbener Straße this weekend. He will return to the starting lineup against Dortmund and captain the team in the absence of the injured Neuer.
