Salah announced this week that he will leave Liverpool at the end of the season, marking the end of an era for Liverpool.
After negotiations with Anfield executives, Salah will leave on a free transfer, ending his nine-year, trophy-laden career on Merseyside, and discussions have begun about who should replace the superstar.
Reds legend Gerrard also commented on the matter, saying that Liverpool must sign a world-class winger to replace Salah.
Gerrard: "You have to buy a world-class player, otherwise you can't replace him, they have to be top wingers in the top three or four in the world to replace Salah, because Salah is such a player."
According to previous reports, Liverpool have scouted several winger players, including Olise and Diomande.
