According to La Gazzetta dello Sport, Milan owner Gerry Cardinale was interviewed by the newspaper's Andrea Ramazzotti and stressed that the Rossoneri have a real chance of winning the Serie A title this season.
Does Milan have a chance to win the Serie A title this year?
Gerry Cardinale said: "It's absolutely possible, 100%. I'm not saying this out of arrogance. Every morning I wake up hoping for an opening, meaning Internazionale start dropping points and drawing against opponents while we keep winning. Winning is the only thing I care about, but we will take it one game at a time, closing the gap on the teams ahead of us round by round."
Cardinale added: "I am never satisfied. Let me explain: I'm happy when we win a game, but that doesn't mean much. When I lift a trophy, or when we win the Serie A title, then you can ask me if I'm happy, and I will tell you that I am truly happy. For now we still have a lot of work to do, and the recent injuries worry me as well. So I am very restless at the moment and always thinking about where else we can improve. I have my job to do, and I won't stop until I achieve my goals. Anyone who knows me and has worked with me knows that I am never satisfied until I get there."
