This Monday, Getafe president Ángel Torres spoke on the Radioestadio Noche program about Carvajal's arrival, assessed the team's current situation, and indicated Parejo and Sergio Ramos as potential transfer targets.
Carvajal made his debut for Getafe this Monday. The former Real Madrid player has been a major surprise in the transfer market in recent weeks, joining Getafe mid-season after his contract with Real Madrid expired last June, leaving him as a free agent.
Due to LaLiga's restrictions, the signing took longer than expected but was finally completed. The player quickly joined Bordalás' squad and made his debut in Monday's Madrid derby, a 1-1 draw between Getafe and Rayo Vallecano.
However, Carvajal's name is not the only one mentioned recently as a potential reinforcement for Getafe. The club is reportedly negotiating with several other quality free agents.
According to President Ángel Torres, the club had been in talks with Jadon Sancho, but that possibility seems to have cooled. The potential arrivals of Dani Parejo and Sergio Ramos remain open, but due to LaLiga's financial regulations, these deals will not be easy to finalize.
"If Parejo wants to, he can sign for Getafe. He wants to become a coach and has been thinking about it. If Sergio Ramos were to come, a center-back would have to leave, and it would have to happen in January," President Ángel Torres explained on the Radioestadio Noche program this Monday.
