Gianluigi Buffon: Donnarumma‘s award makes Italian football proud

After Donnarumma won the Yashin Trophy 2025, Buffon, the Italian legend shares his feeling on social media.

Last night I had the honor and privilege of presenting, together with Mary Earps, the Yashin Award to Hannah Hampton and Gianluigi Donnarumma.

The award won by Gigio is a source of personal pride and for all of Italian football.

It was an extraordinary evening, and I want to thank France Football for the invitation and congratulate all the champions and championesses awarded on stage.
