One of the best GK of our Generation and player who is loved by all football fans and hated by no one and player who always respect any opponents and every player wether they were big teams or not! and what I love about him the most was his loyalty to his club and to proven that he rejected big clubs Real Madrid and FC Barcelona included and so for my Rating I give him 90% cuz to he is the GK of all time

Buffon was like bigger than the goal post. One of his greatest saves was in the 2006 FIFA World Cup grand final - Italy vs France. That dying minute terrific header by Zidan which could have turned the world cup history in favour of France. Gianlugi saved that ball clinically.

I remember 4-5 years ago everyone was arguing who is the better keeper, Buffon or Casillas. I think Gigi put the debate to rest, not only is he 3 years older but he's still among the best and putting in top notch performances for Juve and Italy, while Casillas has become mediocre at his best. Simply put Gianluigi Buffon is the best keeper to ever play the beautiful game!
