Santiago Gimenez insists he never considered leaving AC Milan over the summer.
The Mexico international was being linked with a departure after his first six months with the Rossonero, but ultimately stayed.
Gimenez struck in last night;s 3-0 Coppa Italia win against Lecce.
And afterwards, he told Sky Italia: "The truth is that as a striker I always try to score goals.
"The ball doesn't go in, but the important thing is that one goes in so that the others can follow. As a child, I dreamed of playing for AC Milan. I'm in the team of my dreams.
"Fulfilling my dreams with this shirt is my consecration. I never thought of leaving it."
