According to Goal.com, exclusive information obtained by Koooora from within Al Nassr FC indicates an unexpected and dramatic turn in the future of Portuguese star Felix, which could completely alter his upcoming plans.
The report states that the Al Nassr FC management, chaired by Ahmed Sultan, is racing against time to initiate legal procedures to activate a unilateral contract extension clause in Felix's contract until the summer of 2029, completely thwarting his agent Jorge Mendes' attempts to move him to Barcelona.
Al Nassr FC's management took this strong measure after Barcelona reignited their interest in acquiring the player. Mendes reportedly planned to use the opportunity of Felix's contract mandatorily expiring at the end of this season, in the summer of 2027, to send him to the Catalan club on a free transfer or for a symbolic fee.
According to contract details obtained by Koooora, signed in the summer of 2025, if the clause is activated, Al Nassr FC will pay an deferred 20 million euros to Chelsea, bringing the total transfer fee to 50 million euros. At the same time, Felix's annual salary will automatically increase from 10 million euros to 12.5 million euros.
Sources say that Al Nassr FC management is currently trying to resolve some financial crises, after which they will notify the Saudi Professional League that the team is capable of providing the financial guarantees required for Felix's transfer before the May deadline next year.
Al Nassr FC will rely on funds expected from a massive investment partnership with international capital, spearheaded by captain Ronaldo. This comes as a heavy blow to Barcelona's hopes, as the Spanish club cannot match the same figures in any case, nor can they re-acquire the player after the legal extension.

Barcelona and laliga want Yamal any player that want to outshine him they will frustrate him see what Rafinha achieve last season but Yamal was making the headlines so better stay at Al nassr and enjoy the money
You're a Ronaldo fan right? You guys are the best in unfounded conspiracy theories. Both Yamal and Raphinha were fantastic last season and they're doing it again, but you guys don't want to hear about Yamal probably because he reminds everyone of Messi. They're both teammates and are enjoying their partnership while some outsiders keep complaining over nothing.
