Griezmann touches Simeone image on his return to Wanda Metropolitano

Antoine Griezmann's first act at the Estadio Wanda Metropolitano as a Barcelona player has taken over the internet.

Arriving for their game against his former side Atletico Madrid, Griezmann touched a hanging image of Diego Simeone as he passed.

It hasn't gone unnoticed.

The clip was posted by Barcelona's social media accounts and has exploded since.

The Frenchman controversially left last summer for the Camp Nou, but Simeone has been praising his former player in the build-up to their first competitive meeting.
