Pep Guardiola has had his say on the situation surrounding Ernesto Valverde at Barcelona.
The coach is under pressure and Guardiola feels for the former Athletic Club coach.
"Barcelona is a special place where winning the league isn't enough," he said after Manchester City's 6-1 win over Aston Villa.
"I feel bad for Ernesto Valverde.
"He doesn't deserve this.
"I hope the situation can be resolved soon, I wish that as a club member.
"That's all."

I can't stress how much I want Valverde gone but Pep has a point. The way this has been handled is disrespectful. The biggest shaming should go to the board that has done nothing. A competent board would've fired Valverde after the end of last season following the losses against Liverpool and then in the Copa del Rey final. That would be the respectful way to part ways but unfortunately, the board has mismanaged the club so much that it shows no respect by talking to other coaches and offering them contacts behind the current coach's back.

The difference is that all these coaches giving support to valverde are doing pretty much good with the clubs n teams they are coaching, while valvereds situation is worse.
