Pep Guardiola is fully aware that the Champions League tie with Real Madrid is not over yet after Manchester City's 2-1 win at the Estadio Santiago Bernabeu and has warned against complacency.
The Catalan coach stressed that his side should focus on the return leg against Los Blancos which is set to be played on August 7.
"In this organisation there is no one who knows Real better than me," Guardiola said in his press conference ahead of Manchester City's game against Brighton.
"They are the dominant team in the Champions League and we have to focus on them.
"We think about Real.
"If we think about the next step when we are playing against the king of this competition, they will put us out."
Guardiola also revealed that Sergio Aguero will not recover in time from his knee injury to make it for the game against Real Madrid.
The winner of the tie between Manchester City and Los Blancos will face one of Lyon or Juventus on August 15 in Lisbon.

Dear Manchester City and Madrid fans, stop saying "Madrid will win" or "City will win". Football is random, we will never know what will happen. All we know is both teams are boss level and City do have the lead. Never underestimate opponents. I respect City fans, may the best team win and face Juventus
