Pep Guardiola says he is leaving Manchester City with "incredible peace" after giving everything to the club for the past 10 years.
Guardiola confirmed on Friday he will leave the club at the end of the season, with his final game in charge coming against Aston Villa in the Premier League this weekend.
The Spaniard has won 20 trophies during his time in Manchester, including six Premier League titles in just 10 years. He is the only manager to win four consecutive English top-flight titles (2020-21 to 2023-24) and achieve a 100-point season (2017-18).
Guardiola also has the best points-per-game (2.28) and best win percentage (71%) of any manager to take charge of at least five games in Premier League history.
He also guided City to their first-ever Champions League trophy in 2023, while also winning five EFL Cups, three FA Cups, three Community Shields, one UEFA Super Cup and one Club World Cup.
"I've been happy doing my job in Barcelona, Bayern Munich, here. I did my best, I gave everything, until the last drop of what I have," said Guardiola.
"I am leaving with incredible peace, a sense of peace in my soul, that I gave everything to this club. In a better position, the people especially, enjoy what we have done, many people are involved in that.
"I know myself, I have that energy but I feel now I will not have [that energy to carry on].
"It's just, what is the reason? It's the time. It's 10 years. The biggest decision I had has happened, not because I don't have ambition or I don't want to try it again.
"It's just OK Pep, after 10 years. It is good to shake [hands], to move [on], different faces - It's really good for everyone."
Overall, Guardiola has overseen 592 games in all competitions for City, winning 416 of those matches (70.3% win rate) and seeing his side score 1,422 goals.
The club announced they would also be renaming the north stand at the Etihad after Guardiola, who hopes to bow out with a win over Unai Emery's side.
"I am speechless, what can I say, Khaldoon [club chairman] called me this morning and said that the club took that decision," added Guardiola receiving the news about the stand.
"I like to feel that my vibe or my energy will be there forever. Maybe the huge honour I can get.
"Just to say thank you to the club for delivering it to me and my family. My father will be coming, 94-years-old.
"It is an incredible honour to have his name in this beautiful place. Speechless."

The EPL has finally got what they want. Pep will most likely leave at the end of this season was the topic on their lips every week. Pep never told anyone that he was leaving. The Epl got tired of his dominance and feared that EPL would turn to farmers league if he stays. The indirect way is to frustrate his efforts. Don't allow Manchester City to win the EPL, no matter how. Speculate his departure and psychologically disturb his players. No 50/50 decisions in his favour. Pep understood the game being played against him but kept mute. Rodri and Bernardo talked about it and Rodri was sanctioned for saying the truth. It was then that they knew that they have to perform miracles and be 100% perfect to have a say in the title race.

I'm an arsenal fan for life but pep indeed gave his life and happiness for the club. He completely changed the image of Premier league and set a standard. Thank you Pep for setting a standard for Arteta to follow. We will miss the rivalry between arsenal and mancity.
