Haaland: World cup match against Brazil could be my most important international game

On July 4, Haaland, who was with the Norwegian national team preparing for the crucial match against Brazil, was interviewed by Norwegian media outlet TV2.

Haaland admitted after the match against Ivory Coast that he was "exhausted." However, he also stated that this fatigue needs to be understood in the broader context of the season.

In an interview with TV 2, two days before the World Cup round of 16 match against Brazil, Haaland said: "When you run and play 63 to 64 games in a season, it's normal to feel tired. This situation is not something many people can truly understand, but I can."

This match against Brazil is considered one of Norway's most important national team matches since the 1998 World Cup, and it also holds significant meaning for Haaland personally.

"The importance of this match is certainly very high among all the national team matches I have played so far, and it can even be said to be the most important so far. I haven't played many national team matches of this level in my life, and I rarely see such scenes. This will be a great experience," he added.

Meanwhile, Norway coach Solbakken was also asked whether external voices about Haaland would affect his recovery.

He denied this: "That's complete nonsense. There's no problem with his recovery."
