With the rate at which Hallaand is scoring goals and breaking records, one day, he will get hold of that Ballon D'or award. As for when and where, I don't know, but the day is coming for sure!!!

Actually, CR7 congratulated Kane while drawing attention to an award he won 20 years ago, something he and his fans are now using to keep him in the conversation. It feels like they’re reminding the world he still exists, celebrating something he awarded himself with, his fans and himself are calling “BOAT” having realised, they definitely lost the "GOAT" title. Still this functions as he’d just won a sixth Ballon d’Or. Apparently, that 6th Ballon d’Or is still on the cards if he wins the 2030 World Cup, or at maybe when he satisfies his appetite for 1k goals.

Nice one from Haaland. I didn't see Ronaldo, Messi or other top players doing this.

it is called sportsmanship and show of support. That's what the big guns do. Well, whether they congratulate him or not, it doesn't change anything
What's the congratulations for in particular?
