Haaland headlines the 'Premier League most valuable XI' worth almost £1BILLION

Erling Haaland leads a Premier League most valuable XI that includes five of his Manchester City teammates, four Arsenal stars and one Manchester United player -  that is worth almost £1billion.

The Norwegian's market value has been estimated at £156m by Transfermarkt, who have compiled a team of the league's priciest performers.

The 23-year-old has followed up his stunning debut campaign, when he broke the league's goalscoring record, with 14 league goals in 15 games this term.

Behind him is Arsenal's Bukayo Saka with a market value of £104m. Despite dealing with niggling injuries throughout the campaign, the winger has remained remarkably productive, scoring five and providing seven assists in the league.

Next comes a trio of Declan Rice, Rodri and Phil Foden, all valued at £95m. Rice has been transformative for Mikel Areta's side, while Rodri may be City's most crucial player.

Gunners skipper Martin Odegaard joins Julien Alvarez on a valuation of £78m, a £10m increase on the Argentine's last estimate.

Unsurprisingly the defenders are among the cheapest members of the squad with Josko Gvardiol and Ruben Dias priced at £69m, while William Saliba enjoys a valuation of £65m.

Possibly the most shocking inclusion is in goal where much-maligned United stopper Andre Onana comes in ahead of the likes of Alisson, Ederson, David Raya or even Guglielmo Vicario.

The Cameroonian has been valued at £35m and completes a star-studded roster.
