Harry Maguire's move to West Ham from Manchester United has stagnated as United look to bring in a replacement first.

There is interest in left-back Alvaro Fernandez who impressed on loan at Preston North End last season while keeper Matej Kovar is expected to finalise his £7m move to Bayer Leverkusen.
