Eden Hazard has reportedly given the green light to Real Madrid to try and sign him this summer.
The Belgian has been been contacted by Los Blancos boss Zinedine Zidane following his return to the Bernabeu, according to reports in Spain.
Zidane is apparently looking for a new spearhead to lead his project in the Spanish capital after a dismal season for Real.
They sit 12 points adrift of Barcelona in La Liga and crashed out of the Copa del Rey in humbling fashion against their Clasico rivals.
Real were also humiliated by Ajax in the last 16 of the Champions League after Zidane had led them to three European crowns in a row, and four in five seasons.
He was replaced in the Bernabeu dugout by Julen Lopetegui who was subsequently succeeded by Santiago Solari, but the Frenchman is now back as he looks to rebuild the side following the departure of Cristiano Ronaldo .
Ronaldo was the focal point and talisman for Real for so many years, and Zidane reportedly sees Hazard as his successor.
Hazard has allegedly already agreed terms on a five-year contract in Madrid worth over £14million-a-year.
But Real must thrash out a fee with Chelsea who are understandably reluctant to let their most important player leave.
His current deal at Stamford Bridge expires at the end of next season and the Blues are unable to sign players for the next two transfer windows after being given a ban.

I mean this was something we could have seen 3 seasons ago. The time just came a little later. I appreciate him for all he has done and for the fact he stuck around with us even through some of our worst times. He will definitely leave on a high but him making a decision is the best thing cos it was creating toxicity in the dressing room. Glad the air is cleared and we know his decision. Good luck for his future and I'm sure he will do well at Madrid but regardless, Chelsea FC will exist with or without him.
