While making his 200th national team appearance, Messi scored his first FIFA World Cup hat-trick, leading Argentina to a comfortable victory over Algeria and drawing level with Klose as the all-time leading scorer in FIFA World Cup history.
What is even more remarkable is that he is almost 39 years old, yet can still score a hat-trick at the highest level of competition.
Fox Sports commentator Henry did not hesitate to express his admiration for Messi during the post-match commentary. He stated that although Argentina's squad for this FIFA World Cup is older, they still have the tournament's most decisive player.
"He reminded us once again that he is who he is. Argentina also reminded us that they are the oldest and most experienced team," Henry said. "But don't forget, they still have Messi, and Messi is simply different."
During the show, Lalas, Ibrahimovic, Henry, Rebecca Lowe, and others commented on the superstar's performance that night.
Henry said: "You all know Messi well, and we (Ibrahimovic) have also played alongside him. We must cherish these moments; there are truly fewer and fewer opportunities to watch him."
He continued: "We said before the match that this man and the player we will see tomorrow (Ronaldo) both seem to be from another planet. Today, he once again proved why he is Messi. He is different from everyone else; he is unique."

If you love football, you have to love Messi. You can’t love football without loving Messi. Messi remains the best and the Greatest Of All Time. We are enjoying his last days in the Argentina’ National team and we will miss him when he retires
