Former Arsenal and Barcelona star Thierry Henry has offered a candid assessment of Mohamed Salah’s recent dip in output, noting that even elite performers experience natural declines in numbers over time.
Henry pointed out that Salah, who previously carried Liverpool FC during difficult spells, is no longer producing the same extraordinary statistical impact. He referenced last season’s output, where the Egyptian forward recorded 57 goal contributions, compared to a significantly lower tally of 19 this campaign.
“When you are going to stop, people will give you your flowers and as they should give Mo Salah his flowers,” Henry said, stressing that greatness should be recognised even as performances evolve. He added that “no one is eternal,” highlighting the natural cycle of elite careers.
Henry further argued that Liverpool’s overall performance remains closely tied to Salah’s influence, suggesting that when the forward is not at his best, the team struggles collectively. “If Mo Salah struggles, for me Liverpool struggle,” he concluded, underlining the continued importance of the Egyptian star to the club’s attacking output.

Mo Salah is always the best Liverpool player if the coach is good and understands the front players alongside him but Slot is not fit at all to be a Liverpool coach. Slot cannot make a good selection of first 11 Players

Salah's football time is almost done. Let him join "the finished" players in Saudi pro league before retiring.
Do you think Saudi Pro League is child's play?

Why haven't you explained why Salah is not performing if he was carrying the team like that 6 months back.... Reality is that no one is passing to him, stats clearly show it, the likes of selfish Ekitike and Wirtz and no proper right back to pass him. Just compare # of touches per 90 mins this season compared to previous, you will be in complete shock..... Kudos to Slot who destroyed one of best teams in world.

I don't think it's Salah, he's been giving his all for quite some time now. I strongly feel the problem is Slot. If Salah was not in his plans for this year, then why did he not cash in on selling him last year when he was scoring like a beast, Liverpool would have made money off of him and he would still have a better send off for what he's given to Liverpool. So now, we extend his contract (one of the highest paid players) and we don't wanna play him now, do not use him wisely and his value as a striker decreases. Where on planet earth is the logic in any of this?? Then we bought Ekitike, I think that was smart but then we bought Wirtz for how much money?????? And after all this, we buy Isak??? Nothing against Isak, he's an awesome striker but he is injury prone, is he not? And we had already broken the bank for Wirtz then why do it again in the same window for a striker?? Are we not reducing the value of Gakpo in the same manner??? This man needs to get out right now!!!!!
