Here We Go! Romano: 29-year-old Anthony Martial joins Mexican side Monterrey
Romano confirmed with his iconic "Here we go" that former Manchester United forward Anthony Martial has joined Mexican team Monterrey to team up with Sergio Ramos.
Romano wrote on social media: "Anthony Martial joins Monterrey, Here we go! He will play alongside Sergio Ramos. AEK Athens have approved Martial's trip to Mexico for a medical and to sign a contract."
Martial, a 29-year-old French forward, joined Manchester United in 2015 with a transfer fee of 60 million euros. In total, he made 317 appearances for Manchester United, contributing 90 goals and 54 assists. After his contract expired last year, Martial joined AEK Athens as a free agent. According to previous reports, the player's annual salary after tax is 2.5 million euros. So far, he has made 24 appearances for the team, contributing 9 goals and 2 assists.
