Aaron Wan-Bissaka has been spotted at the Lowry Hotel for the first time as his £50million move to Manchester United edges ever closer.

The Crystal Palace defender is set to seal an incredible 1000 per cent pay rise when he joins on an £80,000-a-week, five-year deal on Thursday, and he looked in high spirits after touching down in Manchester.

Wearing a white Gucci jumper, the 21-year-old flew north from Biggin Hill in Surrey alongside his entourage - which included his family and the brother of fellow Crystal Palace palace Wilfried Zaha, himself an ex-United player.

Herve Zaha is part of Wan-Bissaka's management team, working as a football consultant for Unique Sports Management.

Negotiations between Palace and United for the Wan-Bissaka deal included a proposal from the Eagles to reduce or remove the 25 per cent sell-on clause that United secured when they sold Zaha back to the London club, but the clause remains unchanged.

Wan-Bissaka arrived in the North West on Wednesday afternoon, before travelling straight to his base at the Lowry Hotel with his family and management team.

From there, the defender was transported for his medical, while it is understood his family and team - including agent Will Salthouse - headed out for a meal at nearby San Carlo.

Wan-Bissaka was then spotted again as he arrived back at the Lowry shortly after 10pm, where he and his team celebrated his big-money move in the hotel bar.

Manchester United will pay £45m up front for the right back with a further £5m in conditional add-ons.
