On June 22nd, renowned journalist Fabrizio Romano announced on his personal social media that Bayer Leverkusen would sign Liverpool defender Quansah, they set to sign a contract until 2030.
Romano reported that the transfer fee for Quansah to Leverkusen is £30 million, along with an additional £5 million in performance-related add-ons.
Furthermore, Romano mentioned that Liverpool retains a buyback clause for Quansah's future.
Quansah made a total of 25 appearances for Liverpool this season, including 13 starts. This summer, he was also included in the training squad for the England U21 European Youth Championship.
