Here we go! Romano confirms Kovacic joining Man City from Chelsea with £30m fee

Here we go! Romano has confirmed via Twitter that Mateo Kovacic joins Manchester City from Chelsea.

According to Romano, the transfer fee has been agreed and it is a done deal.

Manchester City will pay a guaranteed fee of £25m to Chelsea.

Another £5m will also be included in add-ons to be activated only if/when Manchester City will win titles — not player’s performances.

Agreement between Manchester City and Chelsea just reached for £30m fee.

Personal terms have been agreed two weeks ago, and Kovacic only wanted Manchester City.

The Croatian will have his medicals in the next days.
