Sky Sport reports that Gonzalo Higuain has agreed to his proposed initial loan switch from Juventus to Milan.
The news is believed to be final confirmation that the transfer will go ahead, with everything else in place for the 30-year-old to move to San Siro.
Reports this morning in Italy suggested the two clubs had come to an agreement over the Argentine forward, with the player moving on an initial €18m loan and the Rossoneri having the option to sign him permanently for a further €36m next summer.
The only remaining potential stumbling block, it was claimed, was Higuain’s reluctance to move on loan – particularly without the obligation for Milan to sign him outright at a later date.
However, following further talks last night and this morning, it is believed the former Napoli forward’s fears have been allayed.
As such, Sky believes the deal could even be confirmed later today – along with the proposed exchange between Juve and Milan of defenders Mattia Caldara and Leonardo Bonucci.

Cry my beloved Chelsea. As usual, the Chelsea board has once again played to the gallery while serious teams get down to actual business. With Higuain gone maybe Chelsea will start talking about signing Crouch and all the other meaningless stuff the Chelsea board is known for. Once an enviable club, the lady calling the shots has turned Chelsea into a second tier club in Europe. Shameful!

Strange transfer market.... Higuain moving to AC Milan while Bonucci after picking up the captain band is running back to his comfort zone, Juventus. This can't even happen in the EPL like Lukaku moving to Spurs & Alderweireld to Man Utd. 😅

I sigh of relief finally..The thought of losing a promising young talent like Morata for Higuain gave me sleepless nights.. Morata just needs an attacking minded coach like Sarri and judging from his performance against Inter Milan, I saw a quality player who just needs confidence.. Sarri will do to Morata what he did to Higuain.
