it's simple and they deserve not to win anything. Simply because of the absence of a real defensive midfielder in the squard.There's no good team without a true defensive midfielder. Lampard and Gerard were all good players but none if them were defensive midfielder.Lampard will play ofensive and Gerard will be forced to play the holding midfielder role thereby eliminating a true defensive midfielder because England couldn't bear seeing any if these two on the bench . Capello saw this and said it's either he goes with one of them or the two but one won't be a starter so as to introduce a true defensive midfielder but England said a big "no" to him

Does it look like a team to win anything.?? Best of three vs Italy which won WC 2006 they would loose all and not even score a goal. That group of overrated players wouldn't even possess 20% of the ball against Spain which won Euro 2008 n WC 2010. Prepare your trophy and give it to them for winning qualifiers and International friendly I think they deserve it for hype they got.
