Manchester City may hand Josko Gvardiol a Premier League debut against Kompany's side.

The defender joined from RB Leipzig last week but was not part of the squad that played in the Community Shield.

Kevin de Bruyne looks set to be involved, despite missing most of the pre-season. The Belgian midfielder played a small part in City's defeat to Arsenal last weekend.
