Chelsea’s Callum Hudson-Odoi has today put in a transfer request to the club as he tries to secure a move to Bayern Munich, according to Sky Sports
With less than a week left of the January transfer window, the 18-year old has refused to sign a new contract at Stamford Bridge, reported to be worth £85,000 a week, and believes his future lies with the Bundesliga team.
Sky Sports News understands Chelsea have so far failed to respond to Bayern's fourth bid for Hudson-Odoi, believed to be for £35m.
Hudson-Odoi has made just 14 first-team appearances for Chelsea, and his lack of opportunities is believed to be a factor in his desire to leave.
Fellow young English wingers Jadon Sancho and Reiss Nelson have thrived since moving to the Bundesliga on permanent and loan deals respectively, with Sancho even earning a place in the England squad.
Maurizio Sarri previously said he believed Hudson-Odoi should reject Bayern's interest, and accused the German champions of acting unprofessionally in their pursuit of the winger.

CFC fans shouldn't act like bad losers. Hudson-Odoi deserves a place in the team but was never given. The Faith Almighty Bayern placed in the boy is mind blowing which chelsea never did. After John Terry (over 20 yrs) no Academy or youth player has risen through the ranks. Not because they ain't good enough but because they'll never be given the chance. we can count with more than our 10 fingers young bright prospects that never attained much height in football simply because of Chelsea. remember Josh McEachran, Kalkuta, Musonda, Chaloba, Loftus and many more. He should leave for Bayern and be the best he could be by repaying their trust with good football. If Sancho, Pulisic, Dembele, Mbappe were to be in Chelsea academy they won't be where or who they are today. Mind u Mbappe was once in Chelsea for trials

If Sarri doesn't want him, he should go on several loans until Sarri leave Chelsea. Whoever comes after him would need him, and he would have gained enough experience playing regular first team games if he actually got the chance.

CHO is super talented. He is possibly the best attacker to come out of Chelsea academy. However we shouldnt over look Mbappe, Ronaldo, Pele, Messi and Hazard himself. They all got opportunities at tender ages and here they are thriving! Sarri is outright a silly rigid and with little imagination who believes he can force the pathetic to be miracles tht bring in trophies. Football is however a rigid itself...Be inventive if u wana win. Hudson Odoi however has to at least go where he is loved. Sarri is stupid and cant handle the youth. Look at Kante he aint as effective. RLC is fading. so is Christensen. Odoi can go ahead to Bayern
