Toronto FC's struggles on the pitch continued on Tuesday night as they were knocked out of the Canadian Championship by CF Montreal. The side from the capital of Ontario suffered a complete capitulation on the night, going two nil down in four minutes thanks to goals from Zachary Brault-Guillard Chinonso Offor in minute 35' and 39' respectively. Lorenzo Insigne pulled one back for Toronto just before halftime, but the goal failed to inspire his team to overturn the scoreline.

There was plenty of tension in the stadium as fans of the Toronto side expressed their frustration at their team's recent run of results. In fact, videos have surfaced of ultras from both sides coming to blows in the stands.

Shameful footage of a brutal brawl has surfaced on twitter in which a group of roughly ten men all dressed in black can be seen violently punching each other dangerously close to the steps. At one point, two of them fall down the steps as they tried fight each other off, with one of the men landing a nasty blow to the rib cage.

Fans left plenty of comments on the video, expressing their disapproval of the use of violence in football. "What the heck is this?!?" commented one fan. "Shameful," said another.
