The ISIS terrorist group launched a threat this Monday against the four stadiums that will host the first legs of the Champions League quarterfinals. The Al Azaim foundation, a medium in charge of disseminating messages from the Islamic State (Daesh, ISIS), has made public the image of a poster threatening the Parc des Princes, the Santiago Bernabéu, the Metropolitano and the Emirates Stadium, with the message 'Kill them all'.
The last attack by the Islamic State is still recent, which took place on March 22 at the Crocus City Hall, a large concert hall in Moscow. Several armed men, dressed in camouflage uniforms, burst in and fired automatic weapons at the public present. The criminal action left 143 dead and around 200 injured.
This Monday's threat comes after on March 30, the Sarh al-Khilafah media outlet, affiliated with ISIS, published an image in which it called for attacks against people who were in the Allianz Arena, in Munich, to witness the match between Bayern Munich and Borussia Dortmund.

Here is a short selection of verses from the Quran that not only justify the killing of non-Muslims, but even command it. • “And kill them wherever you find them, and drive them out from where they drove you out – Al Fitnah (disbelief) is worse than killing. (...) Wherever they fight against you, kill them! – This is the retribution of the unbelievers! But if they refrain... – verily, Allah is Forgiving, Merciful! And fight them until Fitnah ceases and religion belongs to Allah. But if they refrain, then renounce all hostility except against the wrongdoers.” (Surah 2, 191-193). The previous verse (190) says, "Fight in the cause of God those who fight you," which has led some to claim that the entire passage only refers to a defensive war in which Muslims would defend their homes and families. However, the historical context of this passage is not a defensive war, as it was written when Muhammad and his followers had moved to Medina and were not under attack by their Mecca opponents. It clearly refers to an offensive war in which the Muslims were to expel the inhabitants of Mecca from their city (which is what happened). Thus, verse 190 of Surah 2 commands to fight those who resist the rule of Allah (i.e. the Muslim conquest). Some Muslim translators' translation of Al Fitnah as "persecution" is twisted. This term can mean unbelief or confusion caused by unbelief or temptation. This is entirely consistent with the context, as the verse enjoins fighting until "religion belongs to God," that is, until the unbelievers renounce their errors. • Surah 2, 244: “Fight in the cause of Allah and know that Allah is All-Hearing, All-Knowing!” • Sura 2, 216: “War is prescribed for you, although it is hateful to you. Perhaps you feel disgusted by something even though it is good for you. Perhaps you love something even though it is bad for you. Allah knows, but you don't know!” This verse not only recognizes violence as a virtue, but also actually debunks the myth that Muslims are only allowed to fight in self-defense, since the recipients of these words were not attacked at the time. We know from the hadith that this verse was written at a time when Muhammad was trying to persuade his followers to attack merchant caravans and plunder them. • Sura 3, 56: “Those who disbelieve I will punish with a terrible punishment in this world and in the Hereafter; and they will have no helpers.” • Surah 3, 151: “We will throw terror into the hearts of those who disbelieve because they associate with Allah what He has not sent down any authority. Their place of refuge will be the fire. And how evil is this abode for the unjust!” These words refer to polytheists, among whom the Koran also includes Christians, since they believe in the Trinity. • Surah 4, 74: “Let those fight in the cause of Allah who buy the Hereafter with the life of this world! And whoever fights in the cause of Allah and is killed or triumphs will receive from Us a great reward.” The martyrs of Islam are fundamentally different from the Christians of the first centuries, who meekly allowed themselves to be led to the place of execution. The Muslims referred to in the above verse are killed in battle in which they spread death and destruction in the name of Allah. These words provide the theological justification for modern suicide attacks. • Surah 4, 76: "Those who believe fight in the cause of Allah (...)." • Surah 4, 89: “They would have you be disbelievers as they are disbelievers, so that you may be equal. Therefore do not take guardians from among them until they travel together in the cause of Allah. And if they turn away, then seize them and kill them wherever you find them. And do not take for yourselves from among them either a guardian or a helper!” • Surah 4, 95: “Those of the believers who sit still - apart from those who have been harmed - and those who fight eagerly in the cause of Allah, with their possessions and with their lives - are not equal at all. Allah has exalted those who strive zealously with their possessions and their lives above those who sit still by one step. Allah has promised beautiful things to everyone. But Allah has favored those who fight hard above those who sit still with a great reward.” This verse criticizes "peaceful" Muslims who do not join the fight, making them realize that they are worthless in the eyes of Allah. This debunks the currently widespread myth that jihad does not mean a holy war in the Quran, but only a spiritual struggle. Not only does the Arabic text use the word "mujahiduna", but it clearly does not refer to spiritual warfare, as it excuses those who are physically unable to participate in war. (According to the hadith, these words are a response to the blind man's protest that he is unable to join jihad, which would make no sense if the word meant spiritual warfare.) • Sura 4, 104: “And do not lose heart in pursuing these people! When you suffer, they suffer as you suffer; but you expect from Allah what they do not expect. Allah is All-Knowing, All-Wise!” Can pursuing wounded and retreating enemies be seen as an act of self-defense? • Sura 5, 33: “The recompense of those who fight against Allah and His Messenger and strive to spread corruption on earth will be only that they will be killed or crucified, or have their hands and feet cut off alternately, or be expelled from country. "For them there is disgrace in this world and a painful punishment in the Hereafter." • Surah 8, 12: “(...) I will put fear into the hearts of the unbelievers. So hit their necks! Hit them on all their fingers!” No rational person can interpret these words as referring to spiritual warfare. • Sura 8, 15-16: “O you who believe! When you meet infidels on the march, do not turn your back on them! And whoever turns his back on them on that day, unless he does so by returning to battle or joining the troops, he will incur Allah's wrath, and his place of refuge will be Gehenna. What a bad place to come!” • Surah 8, 39: "Fight them until there is no more rebellion and religion belongs entirely to Allah." Some translators translate "fitna" as "persecution," but the circumstances in which this verse was written make this interpretation baseless. The people of Mecca simply refused to allow Muhammad to enter their city during the Hajj. Other Muslims were allowed to travel there - but not armed groups, since Muhammad had declared war on Mecca before his flight. The people of Mecca also defended their religion, as Muhammad's intention was to overthrow their idols and impose Islam by force (which he later did). Thus, this verse should be understood as a fight until "religion belongs entirely to Allah", in the understanding that the justification for violence was the disbelief of the opponents. • Surah 8, 57: “And if you meet them in war, then deal with them in such a way as to scatter those behind them. Perhaps they will come to their senses!” • Surah 8, 67: “It is not fit for the Prophet to take prisoners until he has completely conquered the land. (...)”. • Sura 8, 59-60: “And let not those who disbelieve think that they will overtake us. They are incapable of foiling anything! Prepare against them as many forces as you can and troops of cavalry with which you can terrify the enemy of Allah and your enemy, as well as others who are outside them, whom you do not know." • Surah 8, 65: “O Prophet! Stimulate the faithful to fight!” • Surah 9, 5: “And when the holy months have passed, then kill the idolaters wherever you find them; seize them, besiege them, and prepare every ambush for them. But if they repent and perform prayers and give alms, then let them go. Indeed, Allah is Forgiving and Merciful!” According to the above verse, the best way to ensure safety from Muslims is to embrace Islam (the salat prayer and the zakat tax on the poor are among the five pillars of Islam). The content of this verse refutes the now widespread view that the Qur'an allows violence only in self-defense, since the Muslims to whom these words were addressed were not attacked by anyone. If they were, then there would be no mention of a period of truce (the earlier verses speak of the obligation to fight in self-defense even during the holy months). These words were written in Mecca when the idolaters had already been defeated and posed no threat. Once the Muslims came to power, they forcibly expelled the unbelievers who refused to convert. • Sura 9, 14: “Fight them! Allah will punish them by your hands and put them to shame; and he will help you to overcome them. He will heal the breasts of believers.” Humiliating and harming unbelievers is shown here not only as a command of Allah, but also as a tool of his punishment, and even a means he uses to "heal" the hearts of Muslims. • Surah 9, 20: "Those who believed, those who migrated together, those who fought in the cause of Allah with their wealth and their souls will have the highest rank with Allah - they are the ones who achieved success!" The Arabic word translated "fought" comes from the same root as "jihad." The context is obviously a holy war. • Sura 9, 29: “Fight those who do not believe in Allah and the Last Day, and who do not forbid what Allah and His Messenger have prohibited, and do not follow the religion of truth - from among those who have been given the Book - until they pay tribute with their own hand, and they will not be humiliated.” "Those who were given the Book" are Christians and Jews. According to the above verse, they are to be humiliated by force, the only justification for which is their religious status. Surah 9:33 tells Muslims that Allah has destined them to make Islam "visible above all religion." This chapter was one of Allah's last "revelations" and initiated a military expansion during which Muhammad's followers managed to conquer two-thirds of the Christian world over the next hundred years. • Surah 9, 30: “The Jews said, 'Uzair is the son of Allah.' And the Christians said, "The Messiah is the son of Allah." These are the words spoken by their mouths. They imitate the words of those who did not believe before. May Allah fight them! How perverse they are!” • Sura 9, 38-39: “O you who believe! Why, when they say to you: 'Go to the path of Allah! » , do you gravitate towards the earth? Do you like the life of this world more or the life of the hereafter? After all, enjoying the life of this world compared to the hereafter is miserable! Fight against the unbelievers and against the hypocrites and be strict with them! Their place of refuge will be Gehenna. How wretched is this place of arrival!” Dehumanizing those who reject Islam by reminding them that the infidels' destiny is hellfire serves to justify murders. This also explains why modern devout Muslims care so little about the fate of people who follow religions other than themselves. • Sura 9, 88: “But the Messenger and those who believed with him fought in battle with their possessions and their lives. It will be good for them and they will be happy!” • Sura 9, 111: “Indeed, Allah has purchased from the believers their souls and their possessions, and in return they will receive a Garden. They fight in the cause of Allah and kill and are killed, according to His true promise in the Torah, the Gospel and the Quran. And who fulfills his covenant more faithfully than Allah?
