ITV pundits Ian Wright and Roy Keane have made up following their fiery exchange on air after England's World Cup semi-final defeat by Croatia.
The duo exchanged heated words and disagreed during ITV's coverage on Wednesday night.
But 24 hours later Wright posted a picture of the pair smiling together on Twitter with the caption: 'Me and my mate.'
Roy Keane believed England made the mistake of thinking they were already in the World Cup final, and said they were 'planning parades' before considering whether or not they would beat Croatia.
Hyped up from England's above-expectation performance in Russia, a passionate Ian Wright hit back in spectacular fashion.
Having listened to Keane lampoon England for getting ahead of themselves, Wright insisted the country had every reason to go into World Cup overdrive after Gareth Southgate's men went further than anyone expected.
Speaking on ITV, Keane said: ‘You have to focus just on one game but everyone's talking about the final... that football's coming home.‘
Wright responded: ‘We weren't talking about the final there, we were just having a laugh with you. The fact is we were just happy and you weren't happy for us being happy.’
Keane hit back: ‘I don't mind you being happy but you're getting carried away, you were planning the final and where the parades were.’
Wright: ‘No we weren't.’
Keane: ‘Yes you were. That's what I've been on about. You need a reality check.’
What threatened to spark into a heated argument eventually fizzled out as presenter Mark Pougatch intervened and both pundits were left with smiles on their faces after they agreed to disagree on the subject.
Southgate and his Three Lions went to Russia with few expecting them to win a single knockout match, let alone make it to the semi-final. But they came so close to the final before Ivan Perisic cancelled out Kieran Trippier's early free-kick in the 68th minute. Mario Madzukic scored the winning goal in extra time.
Southgate, speaking after the match, said: 'By the end several players were out on their feet and we were down to 10. The reaction from the fans at the end shows you everything they've given.
'We've come an incredibly long way in a short space of time. The whole thing is beyond where we thought we might go. Tonight we weren't quite there. But the team will be stronger for it.
'As we reflect, there will be positives but it's difficult tonight. We were so close to what was unimaginable at the start.
'We've left everything out there. We'll look at the goals and chances but I don't think we could have given more over these six or seven weeks.'
On nights like these no-one can sum it up like Wrighty! The fan-pundit with his crazy shirts has become a wind sock for the nation in good and bad
You can pick it apart. You can look at the missed chances, at whether or not Harry Kane was carrying an injury, at John Stones's positioning.
You can continue the search for a meaningful explanation for why or how, but sometimes it is better just to sit and feel.
That is where you find the rare beauty of Ian Wright, who through some weird and wonderful evolution has become a wind sock for the nation in good and bad.
He sat there when this was all done and, just like an ITV audience that was no doubt north of 20 million, he had a face like a disappointing Wednesday in Moscow.
Folk denigrate him as an easy target. But sometimes, in a moment like this, he more than just about anyone catches what football is about. While some try to apply an academic's zeal to a ball game, he just shows you what it looks like at the molecular level. He is the fan, the guy whose day is made or ruined by how something silly gets played out. Other pundits give their view; he gives you yours.
And so when he puffs out his cheeks and says, 'We did all those memes about football coming home. Well, it isn't,' then it feels somehow more profound than anything else. Roy Keane spoke about 'getting kicked where it hurts'. Gary Neville about doing the nation 'proud', going to 'a place we never or imagined we'd get'. Lee Dixon said England 'looked like the team that tired first'.
All true, of course. But in the end it boiled down to football not coming home. And so it was the man you love to mock who got it right on the night, even when England didn't.
For that reason, you have to say ITV were correct to pick him when so many said no.
They haven't always delivered with England at this tournament — no non-English voice for the Colombia game felt very odd — and both defeats were on their station, while the Beeb had the luxury of three wins.
But this particular broadcast had a bit of everything — Neville as the best analyst on TV, Wright showing his heart, Dixon offering some restraint and Keane. Roy Keane. That man who is always ready to burst the balloon.
Or, in this case, tear down the parade bunting. Many folk will have hated his contribution — Ed Miliband did for one, judging from Twitter. But there is always the potential for TV gold when Keane sits at the table and that is why he always must.
His exchange with Wright at the end of the programme was everything that is great about both of them — the man with the broken heart and the man with the dark one.
Keane: 'You have to focus just on one game but everyone's taking about the final... that football's coming home.'
Wright: 'We wasn't talking about the final there, we were just having a laugh with you. The fact is we were just happy and you weren't happy for us being happy for us at that time.'
Keane: 'I don't mind you being happy but you're getting carried away, you were planning the final and where the parades were. You're a grown man. You need a reality check.'
Wright: 'Why shouldn't we get excited about it?'
Keane: 'You can get excited about it when you get to the final — this was the semi-final.'
It was glorious. It was funny. It was magnificently unnecessary and it was a smile at the end of a wretched evening.

Keane was right they were already thinking about playing France, I bet you if England where to be in the other side of the knockout face that contain Brazil, Belgium and France they wouldn't have gotten to the semis

I think England were too exaggerating about their success anticipations that the trophy was coming home when they haven't smelt the final.

Keane is on point and was very observant about the English side, they played like the game is already won ever before starting it.

England really played very well in this tournament. But I keep saying it that the front three lead by Harry Kane squandered ?England's opportunity. Sterling, lingard and Kane lost chances to nail the game with at least one more goal.Trippier's opener was a huge advantage for the team and they they pressed really high to add to the tally afterwards but they wasted their chances and it hunted them.Croatia came back to the game in the second half and by then England's momentum had waned and they could not regain it till the end of the match.

Too bad that Roy Keane seems unable to use his know it all punditry to influence his boss Martin O' Neill when they 'coach' our International players to kick the ball aimlessly into the air & run after it Wimbledon style. Its a disgusting primitive method of playing....thanks Roy!! & thanks for not qualifying & exposing that embarrassing drivel to a worldwide audience at the world cup.

Stan Collymore was right. People only like Wright and those like him when they're all smiles and not rocking the boat. The moment they make they're presence known they're put in their place. Shocking when so called England fans would rather support an Irishman who walked out on his nation at a World Cup. Gary Neville, Roy Keane and others can argue and have opinions but Wright should only play a joker.

Keane was right. People were behaving like we'd already won the WC. I realise that they're excited that England got so far after years of not getting close to winning a major tournament. The media whipped people into a frenzy. Now they'll start running self-flagellating features asking whether or not we put too much pressure on the team.

You Englanders showed no respect for your opponent by already focusing on the final, believing it was already a forgone conclusion! ! You still had to play Croatia, but you arrogant Englanders just focused on the final. Very disrespectful and arrogant of you. Now Belgium will make you pay for your disrespect and arrogance that you've displayed throughout the tournament. I hope lukaku makes 3 goals and the Hazard bros make 2 a piece.
