The Serie A Team of 2017-18 has four Juventus players, two from Lazio, two former Roma figures, with Inter and Napoli also represented.
This was voted by the AIC (Italian Players’ Association) and announced in the Gran Gala del Calcio ceremony this evening, the Italian equivalent of the PFA Awards.
Joao Cancelo spent that season with Inter, but moved to Juventus over the summer, joining Giorgio Chiellini, Alex Sandro, Miralem Pjanic and Paulo Dybala.
Joint Capocannoniere title winners Mauro Icardi and Ciro Immobile are both chosen, with Sergej Milinkovic-Savic also representing Lazio.
Napoli defender Kalidou Koulibaly is the only figure from the side that came so close to ending Juve’s hegemony.
Roma fans will be annoyed to see both their players in the Serie A Team of 2017-18 are no longer playing there, as Alisson Becker moved to Liverpool and Nainggolan was sold to Inter.
Gianluca Rocchi was named Referee of the Year in Serie A, with Brescia talent Sandro Tonali the best player in Serie B.
Max Allegri of Juventus was Coach of 2017-18 and Juventus the best team.
Serie A Team of 2018: Alisson (Roma); Cancelo (Inter), Koulibaly (Napoli), Chiellini (Juventus), Alex Sandro (Juventus); Pjanic (Juventus), Milinkovic-Savic (Lazio), Nainggolan (Roma); Dybala (Juventus); Icardi (Inter), Immobile (Lazio)

I do not support Juventus but I really think that Juventus are a very good team.Whiles the y got Ronaldo they have played astonishingly better than 2017/18 and this is the best Juventus team ever witnessed and they are amazingly talented at what they do.And if they carry on playing like this they will soon win the Champions league

Put in Skriniar and Allan in that team and it's young and very exciting (also Douglas Costa for some added pace)

Maybe an argument can be made, but Sandro was class again at that LB position all year and I am OK with him getting it, obviously.

Icardi or immobile could take batigol's spot. I'd also make a claim for handa/allison now instead of that time's buffon

Sandro was terrible last season, he doesn’t deserve to be in the team. Glad to see he’s doing well again though.

Donnarumma did not deserve any sort of award last year. This year he's getting back to where he should be.

No way Ronaldo would make that team. He literally missed that entire season.

Wasnt Sandro terrible? I remember Juventus fans saying they wanted a replacement not really any good left backs in serie A last year, I think r/Calcio voted Kolarov as LB but there really wasn't too much choice other than those two
