Match Events
2' CHANCE! Dembele's shot saved
30' Dembele's effort hits Suarez!
Rakitic hammers a low ball into the box from the right flank that has all hands on deck for the home side. Skriniar makes the block, but Dembele gathers. He fakes out two Inter defenders before striking at goal. His effort hits Suarez before Rakitic blasts another cross into the middle that is turned behind by De Vrij at the near post.
36' NICE TRY! Coutinho's shot saved
52' SHOT! Coutinho's shot saved
Coutinho finds space in the left inside channel and he goes for the blast towards the near post, but Handanovic is alert to make the reaction stop.
60' OUTSIDE! Suarez's goal disallowed
Rakitic is played into acres of space in the right inside channel on the counter. He has time to place an effort beyond Handanovic, only to blast his effort straight at the Inter keeper. Brozovic pokes the rebound behind for a corner, although Rakitic crosses for Suarez to convert. The Uruguayan wheels away in celebration, but it's premature as the official behind the goal signals correctly for a corner.
62' CHANCE! Coutinho's shot saved
Barcelona probe through Coutinho and he works space for a strike at goal. It deflects off the legs of Vrsaljko and continues towards the near post, but Handanovic turns the ball behind for a corner.
83' GOAL! Inter 0-1 Barcelona (Malcom)
MALCOM SCORES HIS FIRST BARCELONA GOAL!!! 1-0!!!! The Catalan club take the lead and it's the Brazilan who gets his first senior goal for Valverde's team. Coutinho provides the spark as he beats De Vrij on the half-way line with a neat piece of skill. Malcom collects his offload in space on the right flank. He raids to the edge of the box before firing a left-footed strike that beats the hand of Handanovic to find the bottom corner. A super goal from Barcelona.
87' GOAL! Inter 1-1 Barcelona (Icardi)
The Argentine finds the net from close range to bring his team level. Icardi has been starved of service this evening, but he takes his one chance on offer. Vecino latches on to a loose ball in the box and fires at goal. Lenglet makes the block, but Icardi pounces on the rebound. He gets half-a-yard on Sergi Roberto before placing his strike between the legs of Ter Stegen. Game on.
Match Report
Malcom's strike could have sent them through as winners of Group B as the Brazilian emerged from the bench at San Siro to break the deadlock in the 83rd minute. However, Mauro Icardi took his one opportunity of the contest to earn Luciano Spalletti's side a share of the spoils.
The Blaugrana looked set to register a fourth victory from four Group B matches when Malcom netted his first goal for the club seven minutes from time.
However, Mauro Icardi - otherwise anonymous as Inter struggled to trouble Barca - pounced to strike following a goalmouth scramble three minutes later, his goal crucial as Tottenham defeated PSV elsewhere.

This is why a kingdom needs a king!! Moral perceptions , discipline, confidence, motto, outstanding team play, guidance and lead----- all of these things were absent in Barca today, though Barca played really well today. Defence was pretty much solid and impressive. But, still something was missing. Dembelle wasn't even 1% of himself. Lost possessions every time he got the ball. He didn't even tried to do well, looked quite fragile. On the other hand, Suarez managed to get some chances but didn't finish them well, useless shots, careless runs, no final ball, no special movements, nothing!! Valverde needs to be more intelligent in substitution. He should have changed Dembelle in early of the second half and should have deployed another unleashed beast "Malcom". Only 10 mins on the pitch and proved the worth of himself. I think Malcom is more of a Barca blood than Dembelle. Coutinho played really well and Specially Arthur, was magnificent. But, what happened to Rakitic today?? lots of irrelevant long rangers, selfish playing!! No, Raki you are not what you showed today. Miss you King!! Without you Barca is still the best kingdom but, not the best reign.

Few points to bring up. 1. At this stage Icardi might possibly be a top 3 best striker in the world. Seriously our board needs to consider this guy. Just keep him away from the players wives and all should be good. 2. Handanovic is a boss. I told people he's like level with Ter Stegenif not better. Barca fans need to accept that now. If anything I'd even put Handanovic above Ter Stegen. Those who monitored Handanovic know just how good he is. 3. Malcom season pass expired. He's now become a player instead of a fan. Maybe Valvarde and his fraudulent mind will start playing Malcom instead of relegating him to the bench and reserves. 4. Arsenal 5. Let's take a moment to laugh at Barca for essentially buying Morata on the wing for 109 million 😅

MALCOM! He was more effective than Dembele. Coutinho and Rakitic wree taking too much shots. There was no creativity on the pitch. Rakitic should have gave way instead of Authur and I thought that Rafinha have came. Conclusion: Malcom should get more time and we should not be so selfish again. Visça el Barça

Handandovic deserves the MoTM, so many brilliant saves, kept the game tight, and only conceded the goal at the end. it is not that easy to make all those saves, especially with such a wet surface on the rainy day. Malcom 1 Dembele 0. Good refereeing today, only one questionable call for each side, the luis suarez trip and Politano push, but they were spot on otherwise, like with the ruling out of Suarez's goal because it crossed the line, the inter offisedes, etc. Alba looks a bit hurt.....

Valverde needs to be a lil more smart in substitution. He should have changed Dembele in early of the 2nd half and put in Malcolm who changed the game within 10mins Coutihno,Suarez & Arthur played really well. But Rakitic was a mess tonight. Dembele lost too many chances. This is why we need Messi back. Viva Barca❤

So Barca didn't struggle to get a shot on target. Are you guys watching the same game is the real question 😂
Barca had 6 shots on target in the first half and inter had 0

Barcelona had numerous shooting chances but they couldn't take any until Malcom came on late but the frail defence couldn't prevent Icardy's equaliser. This is the kind of game Barca usually don't drop points because of tge many shooting chances, including free kicks, that came their way in the game. You've got to admid Barcelona missed Messi tonight.

Against the small teams Barca play weak. And then it almost looks if they get a special power or motivation to play against the big teams. Good game...Barca should have won. Dembele has talent but has to work on his composure. So good to see Malcom get a chance and score. U could see how much it meant to him as he cried. Barca already in the next round.

Barcelona were dominant as supposed.Inter s coach and the players did come up with a plan which made the game look abit more intresting. However Suarez hitting the target could hvpave change things,he wasn t clinical and shoud practise more.Dembele was just a ok player and a winger being ok don t get you those goals.Arthur should start providing help to the attackers like Busquets with those lob passes in the wings. It was a good game everyone was good and excellent defensively. The best man on pitch was Valvarde to bring on Malcom and Vidal. He should have taken Munir as well. And for Inter Pollitano was fighting a lonely battle for most of the times.I wish Messi was on pitch today.Anyway let s finish 1st on table.ViscaElBarca

inter has proved its one of Italy's best teams..they can reach the semi's if they put in more work. Icardi proved beyond doubt that he is one of the best goal poachers around. He just got one chance and he took it. Icardi is a true instinctive centre forward, the new inzaghi, new miroslav klose

malcom is learning much faster than dembele. I dont care about his solo goal, if you watched him carefully you could realized that his way of playing has changed alot. he is adapting to barca style. he made the right choice everytime he had the ball.
