Mauro Icardi rescued Inter a point at home to Barcelona, who progressed to the Champions League knockout stages despite the late setback.

Brozovic pokes the rebound behind for a corner, although Rakitic crosses for Suarez to convert. The Uruguayan wheels away in celebration, but it's premature as the official behind the goal signals correctly for a corner.

MALCOM SCORES HIS FIRST BARCELONA GOAL!!! 1-0!!!! The Catalan club take the lead and it's the Brazilan who gets his first senior goal for Valverde's team. Coutinho provides the spark as he beats De Vrij on the half-way line with a neat piece of skill. Malcom collects his offload in space on the right flank. He raids to the edge of the box before firing a left-footed strike that beats the hand of Handanovic to find the bottom corner. A super goal from Barcelona.

The Argentine finds the net from close range to bring his team level. Icardi has been starved of service this evening, but he takes his one chance on offer. Vecino latches on to a loose ball in the box and fires at goal. Lenglet makes the block, but Icardi pounces on the rebound. He gets half-a-yard on Sergi Roberto before placing his strike between the legs of Ter Stegen. Game on.

Match Report

Malcom's strike could have sent them through as winners of Group B as the Brazilian emerged from the bench at San Siro to break the deadlock in the 83rd minute. However, Mauro Icardi took his one opportunity of the contest to earn Luciano Spalletti's side a share of the spoils. 

The Blaugrana looked set to register a fourth victory from four Group B matches when Malcom netted his first goal for the club seven minutes from time.

However, Mauro Icardi - otherwise anonymous as Inter struggled to trouble Barca - pounced to strike following a goalmouth scramble three minutes later, his goal crucial as Tottenham defeated PSV elsewhere.
