Inter 'explore the chance of including Griezmann in exchange deal for Lautaro'

Inter are allegedly exploring the chance of including Antoine Griezmann in an exchange deal with Barcelona for Lautaro Martinez.

The Nerazzurri are trying to keep hold of the Argentine superstar, but a €111m release clause gives the Blaugrana a chance to negotiate with the Serie A giants.

The economical situation is not the best at any of the clubs due to the forced break and the Gazzetta dello Sport claims Inter are prepared to ask for Griezmann in return for Lautaro, as Barcelona insist on the 22-year-old forward.

The newspaper points out Barca’s clear intention of including a player in the deal with Inter, to ‘lower the amount of the €111m release clause valid during the first 15 days of July’.

Arturo Vidal has also been linked with the Nerazzurri, as Antonio Conte seems eager to bring the Chilean back to Italy trying to sign him on loan with an option to buy in January.

Previous reports in Spain suggested Barca were willing to put Griezmann on the market to generate the funds necessary for bringing in the Inter forward, who has scored 12 times in 22 Serie A games this term.

The Nerazzurri signet Lautaro for €25m from Racing Club in July 2018 and the Argentina international has featured 66 times since his arrival, contributing 25 goals in 66 games.
