Inter Milan star Dimarco wins Serie A Player of the Season award

Federico Dimarco has been named the Serie A Player of the Season for the 2025-26 campaign after an impressive outing with Inter Milan.

Lega Serie A confirmed the end-of-season MVP honours with Inter dominating the awards, with Lautaro Martínez named Best Striker and Cristian Chivu walking home with the Best Coach prize.

Dimarco set a new Serie A record with 18 assists in a single campaign, adding six goals to finish with 24 direct goal contributions.

The 27-year-old became the first defender ever to win the overall MVP award, reflecting his influence in both attacking and defensive phases.

Sadly, Dimarco will be missing in action when the 2026 FIFA Worldc Cup gets underway in the United States, Mexico and Canada following the non qualification of Italy.
