According to FCinter1908, Inter believes that recruiting from the Premier League is always a successful strategy and is therefore determined to pursue Curtis Jones, viewing him as the ideal candidate to advance Chivu's "Europeanization" football plan.

La Gazzetta dello Sport wrote that Inter are not short of similar examples: "The Nerazzurri experienced a similar situation with Manuel Akanji. The Swiss player has already helped the team kick on with his performances, and with the buyout completed, he will continue to play a role in helping the team challenge for the double. He arrived from Pep Guardiola's Man City and is the team's most-used player this season, thanks to his reliability both technically and physically.

On Viale della Liberazione, Inter still remembers Lukaku's first arrival in Milan. At the time, he had just completed a "real season" at Man United. The experience he accumulated in England, combined with Conte's coaching, gave him a clear advantage over others.

Since then, he seems never to have replicated that form for a sustained period in his career, partly due to other circumstances. But during those two years, he was indeed extremely lethal. Inter believe that Curtis Jones could also be similar.
