Inter Milan boss Simone Inzaghi has admitted he could work in England in the future despite turning down offers from the Premier League.

Former Lazio coach Inzaghi has had huge interest from Premier League clubs and was linked with clubs like Manchester United and Chelsea in the past but opted to stay in Serie A.

Inzaghi said: "It’s very interesting football, all coaches like it. I don’t deny that there have been possibilities over the last few years, even when I was at Lazio, but I was happy at Lazio and I’m happy at Inter.

"I like it (English football), it intrigues me, but I’m at one of the best teams in Europe and I’m happy here. Nobody can be certain about the future, though."

United went on to appoint Ruben Amorim after sacking Erik ten Hag, while Chelsea brought in Enzo Maresca from Leicester after Mauricio Pochettino's departure this summer.

Meanwhile, Inzaghi says Arsenal are one of the best teams in the Champions League ahead of their clash on Wednesday but he has pointed to his side’s solid start, winning seven of their last eight games.

He added: "We’re facing one of the best teams in Europe, with a very respected coach. They went point-for-point with Manchester City in the last two seasons in England.

"We will have to try and keep the ball as much as possible. We know that we are facing a team that will put us under a lot of offensive pressure. We know that it will be a problem for us when they have the ball, but the opposite is also true.”

Arsenal have travelled to Milan after suffering a huge blow - with news that Declan Rice has stayed in London. The England midfielder is said to have been left out of the Champions League clash as a "precaution".

The Gunners are bidding to bounce back at the San Siro after their second league defeat of the season against Newcastle on the weekend, a loss that left them seven points adrift of league leaders Liverpool.

They will come up against the reigning Serie A champions who are second in the league this season, just one point off leaders Napoli - managed by Antonio Conte.

Inter possible XI: Sommer; Pavard, De Vrij, Bastoni; Dumfries, Barella, Mkhitaryan, Calhanoglu, Dimarco; Taremi, Martinez
