In an interview with Téléfoot, Liverpool’s Ibrahima Konaté (24) has spoken about his future and where he sees himself spending the majority of his career. The France international centre back has been imperious for Liverpool since he signed from Leipzig in 2021.

Following an impressive adaptation to life at the Reds and to the Premier League, Konaté has revealed he has no intentions to leave Liverpool any time soon. When asked about his long term future at Anfield, Konaté said, “It’s clear that I want to stay a long time, it’s clear that I want to accomplish things. The most important thing to stay here is to set the bar high.”

The former RB Leipzig defender was linked with a potential move to Saudi Arabia in the summer transfer window of 2023.  However, no bid was ever launched and the France international is clearly intent on spending a large chunk of his career on Merseyside.
