Inter face competition from Manchester United for midfielder Ivan Rakitic, while Barcelona reportedly set a €50m asking price.
According to Mundo Deportivo, the Blaugrana are prepared to part company with the Croatia international.
However, they’ve set the bar high with a price-tag of around €50m for a summer transfer.
On top of that, Inter also face competition for his signature from Manchester United.
The Nerazzurri had already attempted to sign Rakitic’s fellow Croatia international and World Cup Finalist Luka Modric from Real Madrid, but were repeatedly rebuffed.
Rakitic should be more readily available, as the Blaugrana need to raise funds and lower the average age of the squad.
The Croatia international has been at Camp Nou since 2014, winning the Champions League, three Liga titles and four editions of the Copa del Rey.

Rakitić is the most underrated footballer as said by Mourinho as well. He is fundamental to Barça’s control over every game. He is good in defending and brilliant in attacking. He has saved Barça multiple times with his inch-perfect tackles and brilliant interceptions. He brings calmness and effectiveness to Barça’s midfield. He is one of the best midfielders in the world and is having a brilliant season. Let’s hope he never leaves.
