Bayern Munich attacker James Rodriguez has committed his future to the club, saying he "can imagine staying for many years".
The 27-year-old Colombia international was speaking in the build-up to Bayern's International Champions Cup clash against Manchester City in Miami on Saturday, having cut short his holiday to join up with his team-mates in the Sunshine State, much to the delight of the legions of Hispanic fans in the region.
Asked about going into his second campaign with the reigning Bundesliga champions, James said: "The first year was very positive. I want to win more titles this season, preferably every one available. We only just fell short [in the UEFA Champions League] last term. We've got every chance again this year. My aim is to win the Champions League."
The on-loan Real Madrid star was also quick to dismiss speculation about his future. "I'm very happy here," he said. "I'm only thinking about Bayern. They're a great club. I can imagine staying here for many years. Bayern have put their faith in me and that's done me a lot of good."
Watch: James' stunning first season at Bayern
The feeling is more than mutual, with Bayern CEO Karl-Heinz Rummenigge previously indicating that the Bavarians would exercise their option to make James' transfer a permanent one "with a high degree of certainty."
The Bayern No11, who registered seven goals and 11 assists in his debut Bundesliga season, is due to resume training on 31 July back in Munich having fully recovered from calf injury sustained at the 2018 FIFA World Cup in Russia.
