Arsenal were reportedly in for Real Madrid forward - currently on loan at Bayern Munich - James Rodriguez on Sunday night, according to the Spanish media.

The mooted transfer fee was £63million, and it was claimed the Colombian wanted out of both Bayern and Madrid.

The fee however is too steep for Arsenal, and it's very unlikely that Rodriguez will be keen on yet another loan move.

What's more Juventus are also linked with a move for the 27-year-old, and it seems - unfortunately for Arsenal - to be a better fit for the Colombian.

Gabriel Brazao 'on his way to the Emirates'

Arsenal are reportedly keen on signing Brazil goalkeeper Gabriel Brazao.

That's according to TEAMtalk, who claim the Gunners are ready to battle Manchester United for the 18-year-old.

The report claims the shot-stopper would be available for around £3million.

An update on the Denis Suarez situation

The Gunners are very keen on landing the Barcelona midfielder, with Emery a keen admirer of the 25-year-old.

Suarez wasn't named on the bench for his side's win over Getafe on Sunday night because of the recent transfer speculation that surrounds him, According to Spanish publication Sport,

The publication claims that Valverde was unwilling to "take a risk" with the player, perhaps fearing his head wouldn't be on the game.

It seems that Barcelona, who have been playing hardball with the Gunners over a £20million move, may now be warming to the idea.
